Catamaran Tours

The Marlin Del Rey is a 66 foot sailing catamaran that has no match for size, comfort or service.  Capable of reaching speeds of 25 knots under sail, the Marlin Del Rey has the power to travel farther and faster than any other boat in Central America.  With a license for 86 passengers, the Marlin Del Rey is Costa Rica’s Rolls Royce of day charter sailing catamarans.  Choose one of the daily tours offered that depart right from the beach in Tamarindo.

Morning Snorkel

Departing every morning at 8:30 A.M. from Tamarindo Bay, the morning sail heads for the white sand beaches of Playa Conchal where you will drop anchor and snorkel the clear blue waters.  Kayak to the shore and play on the white-shell beach while the crew prepares a wide range of appetizers to satisfy your appetite.

Price:  $60 per person

Included: Open bar, and breakfast

What to Bring: Swimming suit, towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and camera.

Afternoon and Sunset Snorkel

Departing every afternoon at 1:30 P.M. from Tamarindo Bay, the sunset cruise sails North past Playa Grande, Bahia De Los Pirates, Playa Conchal and Flamingo. Drop anchor and snorkel in a calm bay with clear water.

Search the rock reefs for eels, octopus, puffer fish, rays or any of the other hundreds of fish species found off the coast of Costa Rica. Paddle through the offshore caves and then to shore on one of the two, two man kayaks.

When returning to the Marlin del Rey, the staff will prepare your drink of choice and a wide range of appetizers. Pull anchor and set sail for Tamarindo. Enjoy a picturesque sunset with nothing more than the ocean breeze in your hair.

Price: $75 per person

Included: Open bar, appetizers, and lunch

What to Bring: Swimming suit, towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and camera.

Where you will meet the boat:  Just north of the circle in Tamarindo right on the beach you will find the restaurant El Pescador.  Look for Olivia or Ronnie who will be waiting for you there.
